Finally returned from a wonderful trip to Beijing and the surrounding area. Wore my Montecristi Panama the whole trip. After a few days, I had trouble getting TFL on the Internet there. You all must have been exercising too much freedom, or something.
Thanks, Frun. It is nice to put away the chopsticks and eat like an American again, with my hands.Fedoras are subversive. Nice shots. Glad you're safe back at home in the Beehive State.

Can't get my boy to wear anything but ball caps, but that's OK.

I saw a lot of Chinese people wearing straw hats similar to this one. You could buy them practically everywhere, quite cheap. It was about 100 degrees each day, so hats were advisable.

Thanks, Charlie! We had a great visit. We did not, unfortunately, cross paths with Alan. Like he said, he and his were headed out for a vacation of their own the day we arrived in town. A good enough reason to plan another trip in the future, though.Dang, Dale! Looks like a most memorable trip, and your work is tremendous!! You appear to be as happy as ever, and so does your "colleague."
Did you run into @alanfgag around Buffalo? He RUNS that town, y'know!
Yes. They're definitely one of the most impressive sights I've seen. The falls truly define the word "aweing," don't they?
Did you take a barrel ride?
C'mon Dale, don't be shy. We have evidence....And while I certainly did my part to help drink a barrel of beer, I didn't ride in one.
Hope he had a wind trolley hooked up!C'mon Dale, don't be shy. We have evidence.
