Took Lily to a community Easter egg hunt this afternoon. She wore a dress I made her for her birthday.

We also went to the tulip fields last Friday (year #10 for Hubby and I, #6 for Lily). We'd had quite a bit of rain earlier in the week, and were concerned about a lot of mud. It was deep in some spots (suck-your-boots-off deep), but we were able to walk around it to get to the flowers.

The tulips are blooming about 2-3 weeks early this year due to our mild winter. Across the street from these tulips was a field of daffodils equal in size to the tulips. Odd to see them at the same time. The daffs are usually gone by tulip time.

We went on a tractor ride around the tulip fields. The driver told us they planted 20 million (million!!!) bulbs this year. So spectacular!!

My oldest is 10, and the wife and I were looking at his baby pics the other night, and were just dumbfounded. Where does the time go??

There are three little boys in my house who DID NOT WANT to go to the store with dad this morning who are now beside themselves because they DIDN'T GET TO.

Babydoll, I haven't been to the Lounge in awhile, and when I saw the pic of your daughter (I remember when you had her) I just gasped. She is so gorgeous! And so big! LOVE her little dress. Just adorable!

My daughter. She will be 15 this year. And she has started taking an interest in World War II like her mom! We are going to England in the fall to see Benedict Cumberbatch in "Hamlet" and this is the dress she picked out to wear to the theater. I was a proud mama. Not many teens would pick something like this!
