I had the Woodstock album, I admit it.
Then I got into Iron Maiden, and the hippie movement was behind me.
Led Zeppelin is more closely related to hippies than the Who.
Band of Joy? Hippie with a capital H (for Hemp). Bonham and Plant, especially Plant were hippies no doubt about it.
But the Who were not hippies. Hippies don't ride motorcycles down hotel hallways, or into pools, or trash their guitars.
And CSN&Y never got banned from a National hotel chain.
