I'm a size 7.5, but I've emailed them multiple times over the past 2 years. Only 3 weeks ago (feels like a lot longer) Peter told me I'm the next one up for a size 7.5, so it shouldn't be too long. In the meantime, gents, please enjoy your boots for me!
Is 7.5 an unusual size? Two years is crazy.

One thing, I'm always thinking about. I still got no engineer-boots, big mistake, I know. :D

But, if I would have some, would I put my jeans into the boots our let it hang out? o_O

Some folks have been waiting for 2.5 to 3 years for their pair. The reason for this is the Road Champ leather is pretty hard to source and comes in very limited batches. The Black Champs have been the main offering for the past 1.5 years, and since I've been waiting for a brown pair there was nothing for me to do but wait.

7.5 isn't an uncommon size, or at least not in the 1940s through 1970s... I've gotten lucky multiple times in the world of vintage engineer boots.

When I was at the MF shop they had a pair of olive Road Champs in my size. Beautiful, but I wasn't prepared for the purchase. :(

I think the tucked in look is one of the worst mistakes you can make. Definitely wear your jeans over your boots and roll up your cuffs once or twice. But it's a matter of personal taste, of course.

What do you mean? It was good enough for Andy and Earnest T :)

Very nice! How's the arch support on the Wesco's?

Good, I don't need to put my orthopedic insole and I can wear the boots all day without a problem.

I don't know if this play in the boot construction but the first time I sent my form, I told them I had surgeries on my feet. It was ask in the form if I had any problems.

Does this happen for y'all?

All the heels on my boots always start to separate a little from the midsole. Just a little and it's where the middle of the foot is.

Good lord...

That looks like a double but the half sole is thick as hell so you might as well count it as a triple.

I think I'm gonna get a pair made by them in the future. I really like their work.

Thanks Sloan!

Didn't you have an order pending with Wesco?
Domestic crisis has forced a pause - I needed to get my fireplace replaced at a moment's notice. However, I now know somebody who is willing to mule a pair of Wescos back to me from America, which should help drive down the cost somewhat, so I'm just biding my time until they're over there again.
