I generally do routine searches that should have found this despite it being a new form of antique wooden picture frame. Never saw it either.

A 40s Borsalino goes for nearly 500, but Stetson panama that's probably from the 20s or before, in the same size, only fetches 50 - and one bid? Strange.

Left: I just purchased what I believe to be a very similar Stetson Panama for $12 or I would have been interested. I did note the seller reply "The circumference of the inside of the hat is 22 inches. " which does match the 7 1/4 size he listed . My stetdon did not come which a box or linner and more to the point has a small repair in the crown. I do agree with you a interesting hat at a good price.

T'was me. I was shocked that I was the only bidder. I was prepared to go much higher for the liner alone. Why this can't happen with a Playboy or some other hat I covet is any ones guess.
