Great Velour!
Who took home the beautiful Borsa?
Just won my first Borsalino hat

Anyone know the date of this hat?
Congrats! You will really like it! My guess would be late 1950s early 1960s. As everyone knows it's hard to date Borsalinos.
Won an auction on four French hats - a COL, a Morreton and a couple of Flechet
Looking a little battered, but hopefully basically sound. Too good a price not to take the risk, especially when the seller is shipping the four for the cost of posting one:

I think they're late 40's/early 50's...

Nothing like a six in the size to thin the crowds. I'm sure you and Bob will turn it into something gorgeous.
Yep, well done! It appears to be a homburg but the crown popped back out. I'm sure a quick center dent and steam will have her looking new in no time.
