I just won this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/23071187186...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_2713wt_1189

I hope it fits! (I have worn everything from 7 1/2 to 7 3/4, depending on the hat)
Anyone know how old it is? Made in the 50s perhaps?

P.s If it doesn´t fit, I'll sell it to one of you guys for the same price I bought it for (48 pound sterling) , if anyone´s interested.

Ah yes, I was very tempted to bid on that one too, but I decided to focus down on the Dunn. Hope it fits! If not I might be interested in purchasing.

I'm home recovering from foot surgery, so I had way too much time on my hands this week. Filled the hours surfing eBay on the iPad, looking at what the wife calls "hat porn." Tonight I won this Knox Panama. I figured I had a chance to snap up a bargain, since the seller listed it merely as a "Knox Hat," then showed a Dobbs box as the main gallery image. Got it for less than $65 shipped. Sure hope it fits! If not, it'll end up in the classifieds, along with the black Disney fedora I won last week. The Disney is a really beautiful hat, but a few days after receiving it I won a similar black Champ Spacelight that fits even better. Don't worry - the stitches come out on the 19th, then I'm cleared to drive again. But in the meantime, there are still a few interesting items already in the Watch List . . . .

Here's a couple of screengrabs of the Knox Panama:

This morning...

I rolled from bed, poured a coffee & shot this one down right out of the stocks, it'd just been posted not five minutes prior.

'Twas me. Second early C&K Derby from Minnesota in the past month for me. Could not let it leave the state after nearly a century. Will post better photos soon. It looks to be in fine condition, indeed.

Where's my Hat... ? in Upstate NY!
Here's one I purchased on Ebay about 10 days ago:

I was concerned that my purchase had been too hasty but my buyer's remorse dissipated upon opening the box and feeling that soft, fine felt.

After a quick naptha bath and brush-up:

Some steam and a tweak:

This hat is super light (99grams), marked 7 1/4 but fits bigger and may even deserve a new dark maroon ribbon at some point.

Thanks for looking,

MP

Wow, nice hat. You did an awesome job bringing it back!
