Did anyone try for this? The greatest (and IMO rarest) vintage eight-panel cap I've ever seen on eBay. And yes, it really is from around 1910: www.ebay.com/itm/SNAZZY-Antique-191...Striped-Silk-England-Leather-VG-/320794458267

Oh yes... Lefty posted this auction link the day it ended. I agree - fantastic example. I was sitting at my Dad's house over Thanksgiving placing a leap of faith bid to win this beauty. His rural house has no internet and spotty 3G. I bid too late and watched the spinning wheel for 30 seconds. It didn't make it in time.

I really liked that Swan cap as well, but didn't want to risk it not fitting. I might have gone just a bit higher than the winning bid, but who knows if that would have done it.

I know what you mean ... but in my experience, those adjustable vintage caps (which go up to 7 3/8 max) really do live up to their name. I wear a 7 1/4 ... and when I set the adjustable strap to the "7 1/4" mark, it really does make the cap that size.
