Very nice, Flute.
Don't know how I snagged this:

I'd guess early 1950's from sweatband imprint (gold carriage) and plastic tip in liner. But style looking a bit backward from that.
Here is what it looked like after a little re-shaping from the original Harry Truman look:
Actual color chocolate brown. Per eBay records, went BIN on May 6...did anyone else see it and pass it up? I never saw it until Sunday night and pounced.
Actual brim is 2-1/2" (not 2.75 as per seller), 5-15/16" straight open crown, somewhat on light weight side at 4.5 ounces, absolutely beautiful finish and firm but not stiff hand. Might become my favorite.

I was tempted by this Resistol Milan because I have its brother. Same make, model, store, age, size, AND initials.
Mine's a golden "natural" color. Must have been the same original buyer. But that was more than I wanted to spend
(though still a good deal).
I never saw it until Sunday night and pounced.
Um, you know the Stetson case is from a Lounger, too, right?
Maybe I missed something...
Josh, the colours of that Gordon hat are quite remarkable. Looking forward to seeing your photos of it.
