I just use e-bay's built in auto bidder. You put in how much you're willing to pay, and it automatically bids for you. If a sniper puts in a bid last second to win it and you've put in a higher number, e-bay will top their bid for you.NY_Confidential said:wow.. lot of snipers in here. lol. (just gathered that from reading through the thread)
Are any of you auction-hitmen for hire? I always end up losing to people the likes of you guys. hahahah

Put in what you're willing to pay, and you'll get it if it falls in your price range and if you loose it will because somebody's willing to pay a good bit more then you are.
I've never lost an auction where I'm willing to pay the amount the item went for.

I'm certainly guilty of buying hats based on things other than quality, design, fit, etc. My 7 3/4 Vita-Felt is too big to wear without stuffing the sweat (but Vita-Felt is rare and interesting stuff, with a short historical run) and that old fuzzy Stetson I picked up recently would have gone to someone else if I didn't believe it to be an early 20s/teens Stetson.
