If that hat had been a 7 3/8 it would have been mine regardless of the price and I mean that. ;)

I love the Tom 'n' Jerry line and wish I had one in my size. I am curious as to the ribbon color though as all TNJs that I have seen have a certain quirk about them whether it be felt color, stitching, ribbon color; it is always something that sets it apart. Then again, much can be said of the Knox Fifteen line as well. Near as I can tell every Tom 'n' Jerry is simply a Fifteen with a different liner (and it is the coolest liner I have EVER seen).

If a lounger got it I want to see pictures of it!! It certainly is in great shape for such an elusive hat. :)

Regards to all,
Hollis

The TJs vary quite a bit in pretty much every possible way. I've seen a few that aren't so appealing. That one, though, was fantasitc.

Good buy to Marc's fedoras yets see who got lucky

Hopefully Loungers scored some of the great hats Marc auctioned off Friday. I was runner up on the 30s Borsalino at $174 with no clue what the winner bidder limit was. Hope to see pictures of you lucky ones wearing your new hats
Off topic some times you know the winning bidder limit. This week my $309 snip bid missed a pair of T O Stanley Ostrich boots by $0.45 and I know the winner was all in at $304.55

I agree completely. I actually bought one of the ugliest hats I have ever seen all because it had that cool liner inside. There was no other identifiable information inside the hat so the liner is currently residing inside a blue Knox Fifteen that has been resized and cleaned by Optimo. It is my very own frank-en-Jerry. lol

Still, those hats have something about them and I hope the winner is a member here so I can admire it more.

I won the Emerson but had bids on many of the hats. They were all so beautiful. I have no idea why a green hat in 7 3/8 went for under $100 but I will really enjoy it!

Tom and Jerry

I looked at the Tom and Jerry, as well, but it just didn't punch my buttons to the point that I had to have it. I'm sure whoever won it is (and should be) thrilled, though.

Blackthron, that is a very nice looking hat and the price wasn't that bad for an old vintage hat, even if you have to send it off to Opitmo for a refurb, you will still make out on that deal, plus you got a good looking hat.:p
