Criminal, I'd say. Probably based in Nigeria. It is that kind of scam, yet one cannot really report it to eBay as fraud, I think.

Whenever i see one of these type deals i always look at their other items and past sold items. It’s kinda interesting but this ones boring! Just greedy!

Go to sellers other items.

Then on the left side select “show only sold listings”.

Max: this is how from an iPhone ebay mobile app. Prob similar on a computer.
Go to “about the seller”.
Click on “seller’s other items”
In the upper right screen header there is a “filter” heading.
Click “filter” then a popup comes out with a long list of sale etc. criteria.
On mine the 4th and 5th from the bottom say “sold items” and “completed items”.
Slide both the toggle things to the right, press done on the upper right header and now you can see all the latest sale items going back awhile.
Also, you can play with all the other criteria to fine tune your auction searches etc etc.
Now Max...you got something to do today!!

"Just a heads up, but second hand wool hats do not sell for these prices. Collectors and wearers alike want fur felt hats, preferably beaver.

This hat is most likely worth closer to a tenth of what you are asking.
