A Borsalino, same seller. Couldn't resist the prices. And in my size, too.

Yes, the wide-brimmed was the one that first attracted my attention. It was only 50 bucks. After I bought it the seller sent me a message, saying she was posting more hats immediately. They were the same price. I remembered my other Lock cost over four times as much, so I bought it as well, and then the Borsalino.I like them all. You already have a Lock & Co. Don’t you? How is the felt? I like the large brim hat a lot.

I remember I expected the felt on the Lock to be better than it was when I bought it, and was disappointed at the time, but after I gave it a white gas bath it turned out to be pretty nice.
The felt on the wide brim L&Co looks like it is going to be soft; it seems very different from the one I bought before.

They look like nice finds and for English hats these wide brims are unusual. I'm curious to hear your findings on the felt once they arrive.Yes, the wide-brimmed was the one that first attracted my attention. It was only 50 bucks. My guess is this hat was made by Tonak.I think this is an unusually wide-brimmed Lock&Co, so I bought it.

Ah! Could you please tell me why you think so?My guess is this hat was made by Tonak.
It will be a couple of months. My brother in law is coming to visit on Christmass. They look like nice finds and for English hats these wide brims are unusual. I'm curious to hear your findings on the felt once they arrive.

Very nice hat, Brent. The felt is firm, without being stiff.Max, how is the felt on your Courtney? Yours is older than mine and the felt certainly looks nicer.

Just the creaseThe eBay photos make the crown appear taller and blockier than the headshot photos. Was it re-blocked or is it just the crease?
