D.B. suit colour

Hi, I`ve seen a double breasted suit with no rear vent and the trousers have turn-ups, but the colour is beige. Were there any beige suits around in the 30/40/50s? This would go great with my brown fedora and a pair of correspondent shoes. Peter

I think it may be some warm weather suit or something like that.
Apart from that, if it looks good, it is good. I would not worry whether it was used in "our" age or not (to be fair, I do not know).

Of course there were. There's nothing new under the sun in menswear.

NOt that that should suggest that a ventless jacket and turnups bears any relation to the age of a suit.
