One last thing about the hangers potentially causing creases.... remember the hanger is going to be 'wearing' the jacket infinitely more than you will be....

I bought aero hanger during the sale and visiting the factory. It feels like putting it on the back of a chair.

I think put it on broader angle helps to distribute the weight and prevent vertical crease.

And most likely are caused by the angle the lower part (front side) drape to the center and pressing each other side.

Just a quick survey though, the ones that have vertical crease, did the jacket kept at zipped position?

I think if it’s not zipped, it is not pressing the other side and will not/have less crease

None of my jackets have ever been zipped while being stored on a hanger.

Oh that's interesting. I assumed zipping was good, much like you keep a suit jacket buttoned on a hanger. Obviously a suit jacket button doesn't exert the same pressure on the garment as fully doing up a zipper, though. But I've had my Hooch Hauler mostly zipped on the hanger through the summer.

I'm curious - do others zip, or not, on hangers? Or, maybe no one cares :p

I never zip, and i was always told not to button suits when hanging either, it creases them...

Man I miss Butte and his contributions. He seemed to be a good dude.

Er this is funny. I wear some old Jean cut offs around house all the time. So much they kinda ragga looking. So I took another pair pants and cut them up for shorts and wore to a pub. When I got home my wife said they were rediculous. These are the slim fit stretch jeans... so you mean that's a fail? Really they look fine to me and comfortable :)

I put a leather jacket on an aero hanger for months over the summertime. Maybe 6 months. The Aero hanger did start to leave a few of these creases, if it would have stayed for much longer. What creates creases is not in my opinion how wide the jacket is, but how thin the hanger is. A hanger which flares out as much as possible (like real shoulders) will not create big creases. You could have the widest hanger made out of wire and guess what? It's going to crease!
