Hi Ladies --

I read though this thread and didn't see a link to this place. The shoes here look pretty cute.. Lots of cool vintage styles and the prices aren't too too steep.

MyBabyJo

I love mybabyjo, I've bought a few things from them, and they have great customer service. I love so many shoes that they have right now, I just wish that they were about 1/2 inch shorter heels. I can get away with 3 1/2 inches, but only if they have at least 1/4, prefer 1/2 inch platform. Anything over that is just too painful:(
You should check out the sticky thread we have in the PR, Vintage & Vintage Inspired (VI) Shopping It is a very neat and incredibly organized listing of stores that sell vintage and vintage inspired clothes, shoes and accessories. It's got a lot of great links for everything from cute dresses to shoes (thanks LD for making it so easy to find stuff there:)).

I loved the Farylrobin shoes I got so much, and being that they were so much cheaper on this site then all the others, I had to buy some more.
Got them today, and they are so cute and so comfortable. Just a warning to anybody who wants to buy these, I'd recommend going up a 1/2 size.
I'm so happy with all the pairs I got from this brand. They have a real vintage flare to them and are so comfortable. I want more!!!!! The second pair is my favorite out of all of the five pairs I've bought today. I didn't read the description completely on the first pair. They are a fake croc but the heel and platform are dark brown suede (JBD, I think we would refer to this as "hot chocolate brown":D :p ). I kind of wish that they were all made of the croc, I think actual vintage shoes would have been like this. But, they still are very vintage-y.
I'm not sure what I was thinking when I bought the last pair. They sure are different, I'm not too crazy about them in person. I think they will be too chunky to wear with a delicate dress, but think they will look good with a pair of wide leg trousers.

I'm so glad you are enjoying the site so much. :) I have to say I *Adore* the last ones you listed, they are many good things rolled into one pair. I'm regretful that I rarely wear pastel colors. :(

I'll just have to continue enjoying my three pair, lol. I wore the Two Lips pair Daisy B pointed out (the sling backs), they really work with just about everything.

shepkatt, MyBabyJo was where I first saw and fell in love with those shoes (and they had the best price on the web!), but they haven't carried my size in a very long time. I was very happy to see them greatly reduced in price and in my size (!) on the endless site.

I wish they didn't have them in black in only the patent leather and suede, I ding my shoes up in a hurry, and patent leather looks so bad once damaged, even marginally. :( I'm making do with the black suede though.

The first two are from Target. They have the black and white polka dot ones at the store. The Menswear pumps I could only find online.

:D Good news! Target.com has free shipping on all $25 shoe purchases. Both of those together were around $30 so I got free shipping! :D

The anchor shoes are on zappos.com. They are T.U.K. shoes. I love T.U.K. shoes but unfortunately the ones I wanted the most aren't available in my size. Oh and another thing T.U.K. only carries whole sizes (FYI).

Happy shopping!

But they didn't have these in my size. :(

These are soooo cute, but they don't have my size either:( Before anyone else goes to Zappos to look for them, they only have size 6 and 9 left. I'm gonna search the web to see if I can find them somewhere else, if I do I'll post the link. What I can't figure out about them is the exact color. I'm assuming that since they are a nautical theme that they are dark blue, but the picture looks black and the description doesn't say. Anyone own these? If so, what color are they. I have 2 very cute blue and white polka dot dresses that I'm looking for shoes for. I think I'm gonna get a pair of white espadrilles. I have a thing about white leather shoes, I just don't like them, or at least I've never come across a pair that I like. So, I've been wearing brown shoes with my blue and white dresses, and that doesn't look too good. So, if anybody comes across a cute pair of vintage-y shoes or sandals in white, please post. I think espadrilles will look cute with these summery dresses, but it'd be nice to have another option, if I can't find these TUK shoes in my size.

So sorry to post twice, but I found the cute TUK shoes posted above at In Step Shoe Store, and yippeeee!, they are $45, that's $10 cheaper than Zappos! Also, I found out, they are black and white, not Navy and white.
I've never bought from this store before, but they offer a lot of different brands and their prices are good. So, even if you don't like this particular pair of shoes, you might find another pair that you have been looking for, at a pretty good price.
