Myth busting indeed! A double breasted, notch lapel with only 1 buttonhole circa 1946? It could be possible that either the owner wanted an old fashioned pre-1930 style jacket, or it was for a period movie. Otherwise at first glance the jacket looks 1990's.

Thank you. I am looking forward to see better pictures. I think the models in french illustrations always look really slim and kind of dandy-ish.

There is a comparsion picture in one of the magazines I just received. german-french-british and american style.
