Boss: "Here, take the broom and sweep the room."
Programmer: "Pardon me, I'm computer expert!"
Boss: "Ok, then I will of course show you first how to do it."
A major Tech company (which shall remain nameless) decided to run a test on their Artificial Intelligence system, so they recruited volunteers. Each volunteer was given a short test in order to determine an approximate IQ number, and then taken to a conference room to hold a discussion with the AI system.
The first volunteer had an IQ of 130 (which was entered into the AI system). After preliminary introductions, the AI system initiated a conversation related to the effects of global economics on international relations. The discussion went on for 30 minutes, after which the volunteer was thanked for their participation.
The second volunteer had an IQ of 165. In this case the AI system started a discussion of quantum mechanics and its role in understanding climate change. Again, the lively discussion timed out at 30 minutes.
The third volunteer had an IQ of 65. After a slight hesitation, the AI system asked “how ‘bout dem Cubbies?”
Of course, now that the college football season is approaching, the above could be modified to mention the SEC team of choice . . .
