Mike Moore is the Brim Master!

I'm proud to announce that I'm the owner of my first new Buckaroo hat!

Mike really defied all classifications with this one, and aside from being an absolutely fantastic gentleman, he has, in my opinion, an unrivaled brim repertoire. This tiny custom edge curl is something I never knew I was searching for until I saw it, and it is perfectly executed.

He promised it would be worth the wait, and he delivered!

Very nice hat Jeff. What do you call the brim curl. A 1/4 pencil curl? Ever thought about a cattleman's crease? Now you got me wanting one.

Thanks, Manfred, rusty, and job! I believe Mike calls this the custom edge. My inspiration came from a hat he made for someone else in a very Orange color-- you can find it on his Facebook page. I'll try and post a link later.

Super hat sir. And I have seen that liner in Mike's shop and love it, but I think it is reserved for the beaver felts. If you think Mike is super on the phone or via email, just try going to his store. Real nice guy, Rocky too, people dropping in to chat or pick up a hat or order one. And to see how some hats were done up can give you inspiration right there on the spot.

VERY nice hat, bowlerman, and it works for you. For some faces, 'up-brim' hats work, and that is an interesting variation, something unique, very custom. Nice work by Buckaroo Hatters!

You are very welcome, glad I was able to make something that you can enjoy, the hat looks really good the way you are wearing it.
Thanks for allowing all the time I took making this hat

Very, very nice looking hat bowlerman! The style fits you to perfection too. I really like the crown, ribbon and bow, and the unique brim edge treatment. Looks great, fantastic choice bowlerman and fantastic work Major.

+1 Jeff
Every time I see that liner, I'm drawn to those red boots.

They're made for walkin' and this hat is made for wearin'! ;)

You guys are too kind, but I honestly couldn't be happier with this hat. I've gotten a noticeable amount of commentary and glances while I've been wearing it (a lot lately) and often very general comments about appearing "put together" or "from the '20s," or my favorite "you are very recognizable..." lol

The Major had a ton of orders to fill, and I simply waited until mine was up. It was a small handful of months. I have to say, as well, that in lieu of payment Mike asked me to make a donation to the Oklahoma Red Cross to assist those affected by the tornado. I was happy to oblige, but he's the one who really did the charitable thing. What an amazing guy, not to mention a fantastic hatter.

Thanks again , everyone, not only for the comments, but for providing so many examples and so much inspiration.
