Ed, when I have navigated from the gallery to a page showing the specifications of a hat, I miss a return-link to the gallery page. Just a small request

Working on a new nav bar design. Also the back button on the web browser works in most cases. A back button is not used much any more at the use of the back button does the same function.

Got my new hat from Art!

I asked Art for the Tuxedo Junction he had on his site (http://www.vintagesilhouettes.com/limited_edition/Tuxedo Junction.htm), with a few modifications:
-Longer, 2-5/8 brim
-Feather-light felt in the new black cherry shade
-Dark Purple lining.

But after a week, I was rethinking the burgundy ribbon, mainly because I was afraid it would look too much like the first VS hat I had, the Nighthawk. I remembered mustangman3000's black cherry hat with the steel grey ribbon (as seen here: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?13023-Art-Fawcett-VS-Hall-of-Fame/page835), but did not just want to copy that look and was still indecisive about still using the burgundy ribbon.

While thinking about it at work, an idea struck me. I thought, why not do a dual-color ribbon. After work, I e-mailed Art asking him if he can make the ribbon so that it was mainly the steel grey, but around along the top will be a thin line of burgundy ribbon. I even photoshopped mustangman3000's pic with the look of what I was going after in the ribbon and sent it along with my request. Art responded saying he would give it a try.

A few weeks later, I got a hat, but it didn't have some of the modifications I asked for. I sent Art an e-mail, and he realized he forgot to do the new ribbon concept because of work with the new Limestone felt color, and so he said to go ahead and send it back and he would make the changes. I mainly include this part to show how great Art is in his customer service. Also, since it was only the burgundy ribbon, I had confirmed to myself that it did look like my Nighthawk, but with a slightly different shade of felt.

Anyways, after a week and a half, the hat came back today and it now looks like the hat that I had imagined and more so! It came as an open crown, so I did a quick crease and it looks beautiful! I think the only thing left of the original Tuxedo Junction design is the burgundy bound brim and the black satin that covers the entire underside of the brim. One thing that it was hard to capture in the photos I took is the purple lining, which comes out looking like blue in the pics. Maybe tomorrow I will try to photograph it outdoors in natural light and probably capture some of the shades of the felt as well.
