Vivian, that would be great! The more the merrier! Everyone is more than welcome to join us campside for dinner or roasting marshmallows, too, for that matter, whether you want to spend the night or not.

We should be able to post any plans ahead of time, but I'm still not sure we've decided on anything for Saturday. Suggestions and preferences are welcome, and, in fact, urged!

5 days there on the way to NZ.
It's Chinese New Year and our little Daughter's first long haul, so wish us luck.

There will be cocktails and there is a lot of Art Deco to see in Shanghai, the first "global city".

I'll report from there if possible...

Nick, I'm bringing four kerosene lanterns, but I can also rent a couple a couple Coleman type lanterns, if need be. How many do you envision? I don't think I can get those cool wrought iron poles to hang them on, though.

One thing to consider, if anyone has those battery operated lanterns, those are much better for use in the tents, safety wise. They tend to be pretty cheap and easy to find, too.

I just couln't remember us listing lights, if we have some that is great. I may see what they have a big lots or the dollar store for inside lights.
