Good call, Nick! Music would be good! I don't have XM, but I'll be sure to bring a bunch of good CDs.

I'll look into bringing a cast iron skillet and a fire grill, too. mmmm, bacon and eggs cooked over an open fire.

Scotrace, as an ex-biker I can assure you the bar never closes on a camping trip. ;)
I have a question I've been meaning to ask for a long time. What is COW? I can't figure it out. Thanks.

Its Club Obi-Wan......an Indiana Jones Fan board.....a sister message board to the FL....if that makes any sense?

count me in on this....at least provisionally until i get final word of the OK tomorrow...
Yay! Now it will be up to you to get Matt in line, too.

By the by, anyone have any of the Lexan martini glasses they could bring? If not I may need to swing by Wiliams & Sonoma. G&T's by the fire sound pretty alright! No mints on the pillows, though, Scot, sorry! I wish you were able to make it, but maybe we'll do it again next year.

XM? CDs? I'm tempted to come along if only
to bring the portable gramophone.

And if you're looking for models, don't forget Roy Chapman Andrews'
1920s Gobi Desert dinosaur fossil expedition:

Camping in my neck of the woods means being up half the night feeling the dew and dampness pack your head up like cement.

Mmm.... Cement Head. :)

And everyone smells like a cured ham after being in the wood smoke. Well, like an unshowered cured ham.

Camping. Ew.

:)

So I take it you are a camping enthusiast? ;) :p

P.S. Yeah, my idea of roughing it is a two star hotel. :D
