I thought I'd share this list of old professions making a comeback. It's another one of those slide-show type of things that various news websites like to post. Amazingly, hatter is not one of them! :eusa_doh:

I think the point they're trying to make is not that these professions were nearly dead before but that more and more people are seeking these occupations moreso than in years past.

Ok, because I was goint to say....there is a world outside their corporate office buildings!

Where I'm from farming is big. There are butcher shops all over the place. So are barber shops. Evey strip mall has one.

Same here. Everyone here farms, or works in a factory. There's a ton of barber shops, and we have a very high-end butcher shop that just moved into town.
