If you dont mind, could you provide some measurements? Was curious about shoulders, p2p and back length. Thanks

I am on vacation at present and don't have a measuring tape here. If you ask Ken he should be able to provide you with the measurements. They unearthed the patterns in all sizes of this jacket type when they made mine. It is pretty straight down, so chest and hips are about the same. If I remember correctly size M (39) is chest 41" and shoulders are 18". The back length of my jacket is 24.5". For reference, I am 186 cm tall.

Looks great on. A little shorter a jacket than I had imagined, possibly an inch longer than a Bootlegger? I really like it. I think it would look cracking with a collar and tie, maybe a waistcoat, with the jacket being worn in place of a blazer - Howard Hughes stylee. Increasingly seeing myself in one of these....

Benny, it's Menorca for now. In Berlin we actually had 35°C!!

Edward, I ordered the same length as my half belt, 24.5" It came out about 0.5 cm longer, which is okay, since it doesn't have such a steep drop in the front as the half belt. I haven't tried the waistcoat and tie combo yet due to the hot weather, but envisioned it as a very good look for it. I think it will work very well.

Awesome. Funny how it looks a bit 'over the top' on it's own, but looks perfect worn.
Your pics reminded me of a couple of photographs from the Spanish civil war:

With the low buttoning collar it is essentially a jacket for warmer days, so a lighter leather would be much better.

I agree; I'd envision this being worn late Summer/early Autumn or into the Spring. Those days when it's too warm for a blazer and an overcoat, and a little bit too cool for just the blazer. I *think* I might end up going for mine (yeah.... s'now on the list.... sigh....) in black, as most of the jackets I have which could be worn in that way are brown. Need a mix... Brown wsould look great, though. Where a lot of shorter leather jackets look better with as cap, to my eye, I think this one would actually carry really well with a wide-brimmed fedora, late 40s style.

Goes to show, it's always worth trying something before dismissing it. Some of my favourite things to wear turn out to be the things that didn't seem so great until I tried them on.

Back in Berlin and 18°C. Legitimate leather jacket weather. :D

Colour me jealous - that's proper Summer weather to me! Currently in Beijing (flying home tomorrow), where it's been 35C all week. :( Wasn't any point trying to bring even my Wested Raiders in goat.... :(

Why are these only available in letter sizes? Same with the Speedway. What gives, anybody know? That would be a deal-breaker for me.
