I haven't heard of this book, I'll have to look it up.

I did just start "Dangerous Beauty" by Mark C. Ross, about the 1999 murders of tourists by Hutu rebels crossing the Congo border. Let you know how it is.

I liked Markham's book because she was as much of an adventurer as Finch-Hatton. Not only was she the first woman to receive a pilot's license but she was also a very successful horse trainer, and lived in Kenya until her death.
