^^^^ Four and a half grand for the dog turd crease, straw hat, but at least there's no carriage charge. Tell me, do you own a cap? You know, the sort of head wear that teenage boys tend to wear on their heads in a back-to-front way? How much did it cost?

Honda, the famous, Japan based, automotive company who is also the officially licensed company of the famous Honda Big Wing baseball cap.
It is a black cap, sporting the Honda logo, it's made from eco friendly, breathable, natural fibres, it has an adjustable fastener which makes it a one cap fits all sizes. The price of this big wing hat cap, at $8,750, is perhaps, not so friendly.

Bought yourself an Optimo lately?

Optimo is a Chicago-based company, producing amongst others, men`s custom hats. It has two main outlets in the Windy City and sells a large and extended range of hats. This classic hat is made from very fine woven straw, is of a simple, yet classic design. It is further enhanced by it's vintage ribbon and coloured silk hat band. The price of this beautiful product is $20,000.

Ok, but that picture is NOT a hat made by Optimo Chicago.

Call me crazy, but I actually almost like this one. I'm not really digging the branding of what is apparently a well known Japanese designer, and I would add a bit of flange to the brim and subtract the distressing. But I like the general lines and outrageous floral decor. Though that may be my florist bias coming through. I've been plotting a Bob Dylan Rolling Thunder Revue hat too....

I cough at the price, most of all. The base hat is not all that bad, as you point out.

I can’t take it any more! This ridiculous relic of the past has been languishing in the ‘Bay for some weeks, now. (Wonder why there are no takers?!)
This could be the WTF hat of the month!! Year?!
WTF?!?!

It comes with it's own Covid 19 face mask too. All for $280. Er, not quite: Postage:US $26.89 International Priority Shipping to United Kingdom. Import charges: US $79.35 (amount confirmed at checkout)
So all I have to pay is $386:24 to wear a hat that will get noticed. Listen, we use terms that you don't, like loo for toilet, walking stick for cane, but let me tell you. WTF is common across the English speaking world, and as you so eloquently put it: WTF.

I think I made that in art class in 1965... o_O

I think I did too....WITHOUT realizing what it looked like.....thinking "this will be a cool clown face"..........then when done stood back.....looked at my creation and exclaimed "Oh, CRAP"..........then hid it away in my locker...NEVER to be seen again!!!! UNTIL that is... it showed up on the Bay!!!!!!:rolleyes:;)
