“WTF’ Hats,” that are hard to believe...

That looks like it was made from repurposed pants or shorts. I really hope they were thoroughly washed and there are no skid marks. That could make for some quality name calling.

Actually it reminded me of the mend & make do attitude of the 1940's when so much was rationed. This was how the ladies could turn an old gent's hat into something elegant for herself:


Small oddments of denim can be made into a cap but you have to make it with the panels symetrical like this:


But the example on here is a classic: WTF is that. Or, here's one I made earlier.

I hope my comment didn't cause any offense to be taken. I understand that clothing was and still is repurposed for different uses, whether for convenience or by necessity. In fact one thing I've seen a few times recently is sweatshirts being sewn together to make blankets. Not my cup of tea, but it works for some people. I was more or less using the WTF angle as the basis for my comment.

Mash was such a fun series. I loved it growing up. Kinda ornery but still clean. Calm by today’s standard.
HBO has free stuff for awhile so i’m stuck on Deadwood. Can’t get Justified free but Raylan is pretty good in Deadwood. Lot of good hats too. Plus i’m learning how to more appropriately use the “F” word.

HBO has free stuff for awhile so i’m stuck on Deadwood. Can’t get Justified free but Raylan is pretty good in Deadwood. Lot of good hats too. Plus i’m learning how to more appropriately use the “F” word.

I was going to say that Justified is free on Amazon, but I just double checked and it is not. Deadwood is one of the more well written shows I've seen in quite a while. It's a shame they cancelled it when they did. Longmire is another good one to watch as well if you haven't already. Probably one of my favorite series. That one's on Netflix.
