I do a lot of camping with the Boy Scouts. Usually average 30 or more nights a year. 90% is in a hammock the rest in a tent. I love my hammock. Stays drier than a tent, much more comfortable and Ive been cozy warm down to 15 degrees. I’m willing to go colder, but weather hasn’t cooperated...
I'm still getting used to the difference in planting time. In Mississippi I planted the garden in March. Here in Kentucky it is snowing today....
Anyways, this year we will do Tomatos, okra, carrots, jalapeños, cucumbers, squash, radishes, lettuce and potatoes. Also gonna try horse radish for the...

I got married in 98. Though not that long ago, on the honeymoon my wife and I wrote postcards to out parents. They are still hanging on my parents refrigerator today. Along with the postcard I sent my grandparents in 1981 when I was 7, from Disney world. Can't hang a text message.
Like I said...like a twilight zone...I can't imagine that happening....but if so, I'm sorry someone went through it. I would have handled it differently.
Now that I have read more let me elaborate. I served in the Army. You learn quick in basic training, it doesn't matter what color you, or your battle buddy is. If he screws up..you get smoked...same if you screw up. I was a redneck from MS and my battle buddy( bunk mate) was a black rapper...
