It didn't establish slavery....however..when a warring group, in battle, killed all the men of a tribe and demolished their homes, would you rather them just leave the women and children to die? Or take them as slaves? Make sure you aren't looking at slavery in the bible the same you look at...- Edm1

The Awning
I have posted this before but oh well... This is my house. I actually like the awnings. A month ago they had about a foot and half of snow on them. I had to knock it off with a pole. I was scared of the weight it was putting on them.- Edm1

Why were the 70s such a tacky decade?
When we were moving this summer..I refused to look at houses built in the 70s. They are that bad. I actually told the realtor we could leave cause she was wasting my time. They all look bad.- Edm1

When I worked funerals while in the Army, I kept covered because that was the uniform. When I attended funerals and it was cold and people were wearing hats, they removed them during prayers. Otherwise they wore them to stay warm. I don't know that I have attended funerals in the summer where... -

Cap question
Hey, I see some caps with snaps holding the cap down to the visor. I also see some with no snaps where it is sewn. When did the makers start sewing as opposed to putting the snap on? Or as it either way from the start? Thanks Edit...I didn't mean to post as a addition to this thread. When...
