My new jacket and some MAJOR NEWS to share with you all...

Navin: Table tennis is great fun! My wife and I have long "battles" on the table. Best of luck! Play the ball! What would you recommend for an "all-round" blade/rubber combination for someone ready to upgrade from ready-made?

Jacket guys/gals, what briefcase do you carry? Do you match or change bags?

Saddleback leathers: small briefcases; medium satchel; original explorer satchel; pouch. Browns and chestnut. I never worry about matching.

What are your favorite Aero designs?

Yes, indeed, Maxwell.... the 30's fit half belt with a dropped/sloped and button front. From the various posts of the jacket, it appears the "drop" is more or less noticeable, depending upon the jacket's size. As I understand, Maxwell/Stuart, the same.

What are your favorite Aero designs?

Maxwell, Teamster and Barnstormer. Perfect triad of buttons.

    Johnson Leather and Aero Tailoring

High quality, FQHH jacket tailoring; done right! I recently decided to “tweak” my Aero Maxwell. I wanted to “level” the jacket, by removing the majority of the front drop. Some might cry heresy, but when you wear a 48, with 33 inch sleeves, the resale market is extremely limited...

What temperature is your cut-off for wearing a leather jacket?

FQHH, up to 80 F in Denver (it is very dry here); but only a t-shirt, beneath. I found it broke in, much quicker, this way.

    New arrival_ Aero Maxwell

Agree wholeheartedly. Looking better, with each passing day!

Are official "Aero" hangers now part of the deal? ;)

Why does Indiana Jones wear a leather jacket in the dessert?

I often struggle with a similar question. Why am I wearing this Aero jacket during the Denver Summer heat? Perhaps there is a bit of "Indy" in all of us.

Premier Vicenza Half Belt with Speedway Back

Black Watch, stealth hardware, and super drapey hide!!! What more to say; except, the sleeve "accordioning" is tremendous. Looks superb!

Aero lining - Tartan or Cotton Drill...?

    Olive. Simplicity and durability.

1943 shipyard photo. Leather and denim

Absolutely love the "collared vest and half-belt" photo. I want the hat and the P-3's.

Carrie: Truth be told, I am still "tweaking" my Barnstormer order. There should be enough buttons on it, to satisfy me! Once again, thank you and Wade, for the Teamster/Maxwell. I will have some fit pictures shortly. Taking a little trip; nothing beats scenic vacation jacket photos.

New Lost Worlds Leather Peacoat Pics

A very nice coat, indeed! Years ago, it was that very coat (but in the russet horse), which first gave me "jacket fever." Unfortunately, my unusual size requirements caused it to be cost prohibitive.

    Aero Northeaster

Teamster; my "go to" jacket. Welcome aboard, the Teamster Train!

New Aero Highwayman; The 4th Time's the Charm

OneEyeMan: Excellent jacket! I appreciate the shoulder gussets. The action back on my Teamster was a very welcome "mobility" feature. From your photos, you have me thinking of steer for a Barnstormer.

Best looking zippered jacket design, IMHO.

Aero Teamster owners: Some advice to a newbie please

Oggy: I believe you will find the cotton drill hardy and versatile. I have a combination of: brown drill in my Teamster's sleeves, and green gabardine in the body. With an undershirt, long sleeve shirt and a vest, I have been surprised at the temperatures I find myself in, and not noticing...
