I never "knew" Colby Jack; I believe he stopped posting here before I joined but I did read his thread posts while I was a lurker.
God bless him and his family.
Ah yes, but you have a knack of making every hat work for you! Not sure if it's you or the way you match and accessorize - most likely a combination of both.
Is that a standard or deluxe Fed?
I have two Banjo Paterson Heritage quality hats and they "shrunk" the same as my Imperial models. I wear a size 60 and always have to add one felt strip when I first receive the hats. After wearing a couple of months I remove the felt strip and have a perfect fit. My latest hat, a BGCD, has been...
I believe this is the hat you are selling?

I always liked this color but am wondering about the brim size. Whil Noggintops states it is a 2 1/4" brim, the picture on their website makes it look wider.
Doe you mind if I ask why you are selling it?
Ok, a shameless "bump" for this post. I visited the Akubra website and showed the Bogart and Stylemaster pics to my wife (but not any prices; she wouldn't "understand", even for herself!) and she likes the Bogart style (bash) better.
So.......... anyone with a size 7 black Akubra Bogart out...
Interesting requirement. I am sure we are all curious re. the rationale behind it. I see Hats Direct still has the Glen Grey Camp Drafts on ther website. I wonder how many and what sizes they still have available.
Thanks for the replies Gents.
James, the Bogart is certainly worth considering.
Viktor, I have that same color Stylemaster and like it a great deal. For whatever reason my wife wants a black one though.
OK, my wife "really" likes my Akubra Stylemasters. While I knew she likes them on me, what I didn't know is that she is envious and wants one for herself! I caught her a few times trying on my size 60 Stylemasters.
She wants a black Stylemaster or something with similar crown height, brim...
I just got a good deal on an Akubra Pastoralist for my wife on ebay. She likes it but has also mentioned a straw/panama hat for the summer. She has a cheap straw one now but no full brim. She now realizes the benefit to having a wide, full brim for sun protection.
She saw this Akubra Planters...
Seeing you wearing this was my main inspiration for buying mine (size 60). This hat is so versatile, it even looks great with jeans. I am sure you will have no problem selling this beauty.
Fifty hats...Hmmm. I can see how storage space alone would become a real issue. I have ten or so stored...
No emails (from robert@panamas.biz) in my spam folder either. I actually sent it again to you a few minutes ago, just to verify. Anyhow, it is a moot point. I did order a white Cuencano from you before they sold out and received it yesterday. As others have said, it is a very nice hat that...
