I must admit I have not been frequenting the Hat forum much as of late. Another small contribution also on it's way.
Thoughts and prayers for both of you. God bless.
I have the very same hat, although in a slightly largerr size.
A great color and style that can be worn in variety of settings and attires. One of my favorite hats and a great deal!
Unfortunately it appears Allen and I can wear the same size. I purchased a Goodwear Ventura from him earlier his year and it is probably my favorite jacket.
I say unfortunately because I am always very tempted when he sells one of his Goodwears!
The Park Avenue is one of Allen Edmonds most formal shoes (and a common selection for Presidential Inaugurations) and very dressy - usually worn with suits. I personally feel they are even too formal for use with sport coats. The Strand, given it's brogueing, is a bit more casual but I think it...
The seller did re-list the jacket, this time without reference to Good Wear:

Huh.
Thanks for the info Eric. I also like and have several (although not as many as you) of Johnny's creations. I am surprised to hear this news. I know he moved from California to Florida a year or so ago for family reasons. I hope things are OK with him and his family.
True, a machine lift is not quite the same strength feat as with free wights (no stabilizers muscles at worK, etc. still pretty darn good!
While the squat was always my best powerlift, I haven't flat benched in years, having reached a one rep max of 455# at a bodyweight of 220 way back in the...
Cycling is a surprisingly dangerous sport. Broken collarbones are very common. A co-worker of mine lost her husband several years ago in a biking accident. He was biking in a park (in Solon, OH) when he crossed the line and a car hit him. These days I usually only bike on the local trails...
