so basically it's poorly run bureaucracy that's unable to fully enforce silly laws? seems like if you order stuff from japan just do it through zen market (middle man proxy), and then just have them declare it second hand and ask them to remove the labels and packaging. Interesting, but really though, do inspectors really know what the leather jacket you bought is worth? With literally everything you can buy online it seems like there is just too much specialized information one would need to even begin to collect taxes on every individual package being...- Americanaaa Mark

yea i did this today and it helps a lot. Were your boots ruined? I've heard people say stuff can go wrong bur I've yet to see a boot ruined by getting it wet. It usually gets wet eventually if yoy go out hiking and walk through some creeks in the summer.- Americanaaa Mark

it makes the leather form around your feet and definitely breaks it in a good bit including the midsole and foot bed. I applied some oil once they were almost dried. I've never had problems doing this even though some say too much can go wrong. I've yet to see a high quality leather boot ruined...- Americanaaa Mark

Mine came in today. They fit real nice on my feet. Nevermind the scuff marks at the top. I had to use pliers to get them on the first time. No pull loops :/ And i thought my cowboy boots were hard getting on the first time... anyways my jeans will be covering the tops and i go by the philosophy...- Americanaaa Mark

I'm not sure if any of you have tried it but Zen Market will act as a proxy when ordering from Japanese shops. You have to pay a fee however. At least you can order from any online store in Japan.- Americanaaa Mark

Wesco or Role Call Custom Engineer boots?
Quality between the two is probably indistinguishable except role club may have slightly more attractive outer half soles. You can get triple stiching and solid brass rollers now for extra money and weeco i think can get hh but it's extra too. Role club i know comes standard blinged out with...- Americanaaa Mark
