I dont mind panamas but I prefer wearing silverbelly or whiter fur felt hats. Maybe it's a mental thing but I do feel like the whiter hats are cooler in the high temperatures under that sun. In the evenings I will switch to darker hats and stingy brims, but white hats all day long in the summer... -

My New LW Dubow A-2
I have a LWs A-2 as well, love it. But, I tried the hot soak and it didn't do a thing to the dimension of the jacket. The HH barely creased on the sleeves and they didn't shorten at all. Something to think about. But, a LWs for that price is not a deal to pass up. Nice jacket sir, good deal.- Lando

It actually kind of reminds me of fedoras. You pick the color of the fedora, and then you pick the ribbon. The color of the ribbon can change the color of the hat. Special Hangers for Heavy/Expensive Leather Jackets?
Not sure if these have been mentioned here. They look pretty solid and can expand out to about 22 inches I think, which is nice for us wide folk.
