The 2 top snaps are sometimes visible, and sometimes they are not, but they are still under the collar,
closer to the middle of the collar band. I suppose they are just there for the fur collar,
rather than to attach the collar band to the body and preventing from flapping in the wind.
A 50s Hercules, medium. The collar especially is in bad shape. But not only.

Probably steerhide, maybe connolly. I have the same zipper pull on my early Brando MC,
and the leather is similar.
Great vintage jacket, with bigger length. There is something similar in Spain now, it's been for sale for a while. It's at east one size smaller, and condition is not that good, for the asked price.
