Village Hat shop sells terry cloth hat sizers with an adhesive backing that can stick on the leather sweat band. Since it doesn't have to go behind the sweat, there's no rippling. I love that. Tilleys are what I believe to be some of the most versatile hats out there. I bought an airflow LTM5 years ago for sun protection (still wear it) and now have six in different styles/colors. I agree with that 100%. I know a few, and one is married to my niece. All great people who are slow to anger and loads of fun to be around. But - If something ever happened that required their training to kick in - I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of what they're dishing out.- Gary in NC

That’s for the most part the way I do it. At a nice restaurant or at church I take it off when I’m seated, and put it back on when I stand to leave. I put it in the safest-looking spot while I’m there. I won’t risk it falling in the floor from a chair back if the back doesn’t look like it...- Gary in NC
