Thanks, Steve. The stay won't be two full weeks but there are two sundays in there.

Got to go with the Stratoliner, but as ever, all are just so stylish.

Stefan said: This weekend is the annual fair in Volendam. A four day endurance test of alcohol consumption and terrible music (decent rock music is in very short supply). Used to be a local thing, but seems to have grown in some sort of national event.

We went to a festival last weekend, called Twinwood, (google it) the music, mainly 30's 40's & early 50's was fabulous. Loved the big band on the Friday night. It's always popular but this year it sold out early, so many people with lock down cabin fever.

If you do look up Twinwood you will love the effort of festival goers all in period dress. Hats galore.

Thank you, Robert. Twinwood looks like fun for sure. The annual fair has its own charm (at least it used to); seeing if you could make it through the full four days (monday being the last day) was a rite of passage of sorts.

Good Morning. I would like to share hats I wore yesterday evening an this morning. I have had oodles of chores and tasks that I desired to complete. I changed hats/caps so as not to beat my hats up.

Last evening a Stetson 7X to enjoy some evening lake time.

I went back to house for beverages for my brother-in-law and myself. We enjoyed a cool early Fall evening. A stetson Vogue was my hat choice.

Morning walkabout in a different Stetson Vogue.

Morning coffee walkabout in a Stetson Royal DeLuxe Gunclub.

Seed feeder, Oriole feeder and hummingbird feeders completely filled. I sport'd a Dobbs Rainbow fedora for the task.

Car wash and a butcher store errand in a Stetson Stratoliner.

Adding a couple fence posts while my head being topped in a Dobbs Vagabound.

I started a fire in a fire ring to burn some branches and some detrius from the shop. An Akubra CD (bluegrass FL-CD) was my chore fedora.

I took my son to his first soccer match yesterday, the Portland Timbers beat Atlanta United, a little end of summer vacation treat for both of us. Wearing my 3X OR.

I’m wearing a felt Resistol (have no idea about age) since it’s overcast and cooler today. I brought along my Conner beater rain hat in case we get heavy rain while I’m out. A couple of young employees at the hardware store came up to me and one said “Hey we just wanted to tell you that hat is top tier!” I don’t think it’s exactly top tier but it’s nice and he was being sincere. It’s those kinds of things that convince me good hats are relevant in today’s world.

Thanks SBG. I'm relatively new to this and don't know a lot about Resistols in general, but some of you guys are wearing amazing hats worth a fortune. Those are top tier for sure! This one was a Goodwill find but I love it and it fits like it was custom made for my head.

This afternoon I was finishing up outside and pulled out some hats that I need to wear more often.

Head time for a run over to the neighbors in this oldster Stetson. Unlined, terrific brim shape, unique ycontrast thread in the upturned brim edge treatment, excellent ribbon and a leather sweat that has aged some 90 years.

I sipped some cold brew after completing some raking and choose a Stetson OR Twenty Five (w/Gold crown liner) as my hat. I have been wearing this hat for chores over the years and the leather sweat shows the outcome.

Wearing this hat and putting wear into the leather sweat found me pulling out other similar hats and putting them in a position to be more readily reached. My thought is to save wear and tear on this Stetson OR 25. I choose a small stack of OR's.

Good morning.

Yesterday evening I wore a tan Stetson OR. I paired it with a Stetson light gray hued felt for a comparision pic. The two hats were stacked upon each other. Late evening light plays havoc with my pics.

This morning I was out for a morning ramble in an unlined Premier Stetson Stratoliner (cadet blue felt).
