    Aero Badalassi Offering

I read somewhere on here a while ago that it's squeaks mainly where the stitching is. If I decide to put something on it should I just do the stitching area or all over it? The other option is to just wear it and let it quieten itself down I suppose.

    Aero Badalassi Offering

Cheers, Should have been ready mid-September but they were unable to get the leather until the first week in October.

Footwear to go with our jackets

I'm a believer in changing soles to suit. The Trickers Burford only comes with either Dainite or Leather soles. The brown ones have had commando soles fitted and the black ones will shortly follow suit.

    Aero Badalassi Offering

Dragging an older thread up but have just gone through it......it's like torture! My Tobacco Badalassi Sheene should be ready by the middle of next month, has been a long, long wait.

Footwear to go with our jackets

Already have a pair of these in Marron (Brown to me) but ordered a pair in black. Trickers Burford Plain Derby Boot....ironic as I live in Derby!

    Aero Bike jacket.

Will already have a Sheene in tobacco badalassi, considered Vicenza for the cross zip but not sure if it'll be heavy enough for my taste in the cross zip style. Apart from the Sheene, it appears I have a thing with heavier leathers subconsciously :)

    That's looking like the favourite.

    Aero Bike jacket.

As discussed elsewhere, when I go to Aero to collect my jackets I'll be getting sorted with ordering a cross zip biker jacket. Not a huge fan of bright things so likely to go with the nickel colour on zips and studs, just totally undecided on leather. I'll have a Schott cow hide A2, a Sheene...

    On the slippery slope here!

Well, collection has gone back to approximately mid October. This is absolutely no fault of Aero, more down to availability of leather. Although it was ordered in July, the tannery for the Badalassi was closed for the whole of August as is usual for European holidays. Horween aren't yet running...

    On the slippery slope here!

Many thanks for the varied responses however, just a couple of points worth reiterating. With regards to getting two jackets at once and preferring one over the other, one is a Sheene which will be more of a fair weather jacket, the other a Windward which will be ideal for wearing when it's a...

    On the slippery slope here!

Er..... I can assure you there is no underlying issue. It's more a case of over the years trying to find clothes that I like that wasn't easy especially in the pre-internet days. Over the last 12 months and a great deal of searching I found I can nail down where I can get what I want quite...

    On the slippery slope here!

I agree with you there however, with being 68 in 2 months pacing may not be to good an idea :). The idea with the Sheene and the Windward joining an A2 and a flying jacket I already have was to try and cover all options. If I decide I like a biker jacket on me I'll hold off until next Spring...

    On the slippery slope here!

Not overly surprised it's happening so not complaining! Only started off looking at a Hudson from Aero....ended up binning that idea and ended up getting a Sheene and a Windward that should be collected next month. That then grew to having a pair of Border Patrol Shearling boots put to one...

    Explaining the Aero Fit.

Interesting thread and have only just seen it! Size wise I'm a 43" chest and a 33" waist and also quite broad shouldered. Most of my clothing is sized either L or a 42. I like stuff to fit as opposed to hanging off me although 'fit' doesn't mean the 'sprayed on' look. To give an example I have...

    The Plan

I had a plan. Then it went out of the window. Finding the sort of clothes I like, be it trousers, shoes, shirts, coats or jackets on the High St is impossible. The beauty of the lockdown meant spending hours on line looking for stuff....which I managed to find. My only leather jacket was a...

My day out at Aero Leather.

Oh I agree, the black is very nice without a doubt. However, when I went up to Aero I had the tobacco in mind as already have a black A2. On seeing the tobacco it was definitely going to be that. I feel it's worth waiting the additional 3 or 4 weeks as until mid September it'll too warm to...

My day out at Aero Leather.

No, it's more of the old fashioned way of fitting this type of sole (according to my local shoe man anyhow). The soles are Goodyear welted and I think it's more of a throwback putting the screws in. The screwheads are in the bottom of the treads.

Footwear to go with our jackets

Have a pair of these sat up at Aero to try on when I go up to collect my jackets, if they fit then they'll be coming back home with me. According to the blurb they're made from exceptionally heavy Chromexcel Steerhide so should be quite substantial.

My day out at Aero Leather.

A slight hitch... Turns out the only Badalassi for the Sheene they have in stock is black. The tannery is closed for August so unable to get any tobacco until early September. In the meantime the Windward is under way and the lining etc for the Sheene will also be prepared. What I will say is...
