I never formally introduced myself...
Hi ladies!
I'm Heather and I'm from Boston. I currently work downtown at Fidelity Investments planning client meetings and events. Pretty enjoyable. I also dance in Thru the Keyhole Burlesque -Miss Bella Inferno is my stage name (I prefer Bella Hell...
Well, I have taken the advice of the Besame cosmetics "teacher" and packed on translucent powder to set my face and my lips, then used a large brush to brush off the extra, and wow, it really does make a difference. My lipstick has been staying on forever (the powder makes it matte of course)...
I've heard that Chanel's Age Delay line is nothing short of miraculous. It's about $60 though.
La Prairie is the ultimate, but insanely expensive.

My lord! If you just need a vintage slip, don't you dare go to one of those sites and pay $90 or even $20! Go to any Goodwill, Salvation Army, Savers, or the like and you can get a vintage Vanity Fair slip for $2. Look for a fabric label, not a paper one, and that's how you'll know it's...

Does anyone use Coty as a body powder? I want to get some for after baths (the translucent powder of course) - I think I would prefer it to the plain ol' baby powder.
When I am at home lounging, I have not one but two pairs of Daniel Green red satin slippers, and a fabulous 40s Vanity Fair robe that I paid $4 for. Amazing! And a ton of vitnage slips. I have such good luck with slips at thrift stores. I have house dresses that I actually get tailored...
I can't link to the foolish picture here from work because MySpace is blocked, darn it.
Well, if anyone cares to look, he's the drummer from the CobraMatics out of Providence. I am sure there are pictures somewhere. But he is 6'1", about 180 lbs.
I had a 40s Jantzen 2-piece that was yellow wool - if you went in the water it was droopy and if you lounged by the pool it was itchy and hot! Ick!
I don't like buying the repro suits though because I hate having the same thing on as someone else. There are so many cheap(ish) vintage suits...
