He wasn't being reckless, by the way. He was just going straight through a green light when some older lady turned left in front of him. In other words, a helmet would have protected him, unless he wore one of those little skullcap ones, which don't seem to really have a purpose.
Anecdote...
My boyfriend and I drove 8 hours north of Boston to Eastport, ME. Basically you have to drive up to the Canadian border, take a right, then head south for another hour in order to reach it. It's the easternmost city in the USA.
Anyway, the tourist season doesn't begin there...
I too use hankies. I have a nice white one with tiny roses embroidered on it for casual use and several nicer ones (one green dotted one) for dress-up. I like to coordinate them with my outfits.
I. HATE. SHORTS. I can't stress this enough. Anything above mid-thigh gets scrunched together between my legs when I walk. I almost always wear dresses or skirts all summer, or capris. Shorts are so unflattering to almost everyone. ::shudder::

I have become decidedly more lame in the past year or so, but here goes:
-Burlesque Performance / Making Burlesque Costumes and hair flowers
-Going to see my friends' bands (Sasquatch and the Sickabillys, Cobramatics, Johnny Carlevale, Darkbuster, Wrong Reasons, etc.)...
That's why I only buy it at thrift stores. You can find plate, bowls, saucers, and serving pieces at almost every Goodwill, Salvation Army, Saver's, etc for next to nothing. When I see it at antique stores for $8 a plate I roll my eyes. Pieces like salt and pepper shakers are more rare...
I sure do!! No problems so far! The only thing I won't put in the dishwasher is my Raffiaware, since the grass inside gets moldy:

Because it's all chemicals? Well, according to my trusty nutrition action newsletter, it's better to drink diet than regular, but best not to drink any.
You must go diet. If you want to be healthy you shouldn't drink any soda, ever. But since that's tough, go diet. If you don't like diet soda, too bad. lol
(double post!! sorry)
