Oh, man! I took one look at that and nearly turned to stone. I felt my joints tighten and I couldn't lift the camera!
You guys are killin' me. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap lol lol lol
Here's something that you won't see often. How many times have you seen a man standing around with a conformitor on his head? And how many times have you seen this man's teeth? :D lol lol lol
What a fun weekend! Man it was a long road home, but we had the best time since Monteagle. It was just great to see everyone again, and, Mike, thank you so much for having us in your way all day Sunday (and for Kim and me Saturday afternoon too). Thanks also for your generosity. What a guy...
This weekend IC, Rusty and I along with Dee and Kim had the pleasure of spending Sunday with Major Moore and Rocky at Buckaroo Hatters in Covington, TN. This is the little souvenir of our visit I brought home with me. This one's a Moore Lite and feels almost like no hat at all on my noggin. If...
Tom, Rusty was very careful to keep track of every dollar. He used the money he collected the buy a new ribbon from Mike that we all agreed looks much better on the hat. And you are going to love the porkpie crease we had Mike put in it for you. :D :D :D
Wait til you see the pictures...
Send that dude to Optimo. I know how you feel. I've debated the same topic with myself several times, but the truth is if you plan to keep and wear the hat, which is exactly what is was made for, then you'll want a sweat you can trust. Ask Optimo to return the original sweat, and you will have...
Of the colors I mentioned, the silvermist is probably the most likely selection. If I remember correctly, boxerken has a silvermist VS, and it is very light.
On the brown side, I have considered sand or sahara. I think either of those colors would lend itself to a neutral lid to wear with...
I've been thinking about my next work of Art and staring at his felt samples for two or three weeks now off and on. I can't decide what I want next. I'd like to have a light gray, like a dove gray. I thought about silverbelly, but that might be too light. Blue smoke might be too blue. Any...
I picked up a box here, Tom.

I usually buy from Holt's, but they did not have robustos left. If I remember correctly they did have still have...
Thanks, Gene and Rusty. This whippet feels good on.
Mr. P, if you haven't experienced Resistol's self conforming sweat, I can tell you that you are going to like it. I have one, and it makes the hat feel great on. I've been curious about how I'd look in a homberg. Yours looks fantastic on you...
Thanks, SP and hatted. This is the first black one I've seen too. I gave it a good brushing after I took the pics, and that improved the looks of it quite a bit. I need to figure out what to do with those pin holes in the ribbon, but Mrs. BobC says she has a way to get them out.
A new, old Whippet arrived at my house today fresh from the bay. This one looks pretty good except for what looks like a couple of pin holes in the ribbon near the bow. Anybody have any thoughts on how to get those out? A good brushing will improve it quite a bit, I think.
It's black, kind of...
