    Good, thanks for asking! I finished my novel Among the Damned about 6 or 7 months ago. It needs the finishing touches (editing, rewriting, polishing, etc.) before I hand it off to an editor. Once I get started, it will probably take a year or two, unless I really buckle down. It's hovering...

    I have to agree whole heartedly. I've seen some people get real weepy over the criticism, but sometimes you need to wipe away your tears and be a man. If I hadn't have posted foul picture of me with a notch lapel tux and red bow tie, I would have never suspected I looked like a ridiculous...

    I can't say that the FL has *no* impact, but to say there is some kind of direct correlation between viewers/membership and the ultimate outcome of an eBay listing seems short sighted. Afterall, where did the member's of the FL start? Certainly not all FL hat wearers joined the FL first...

    Sounds like you have had bad experiences with this phrase? [huh] I think "wise beyond one's years" is equally as descriptive. And by young, I'm not talking about bubblegum chewing eye-candies one picks up at the local dance bar (or whatever it is these kids do); a 5-6 year gap would suffice.

    You can always check Burlington Coat Factory for some inexpensive fur felt hats, although the quality is lacking compared to the vintage brands. BCF is a good start if you just want something yesterday asap, not tomorrow. You'll probably spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $25. I suggest...
