Perlina shoes?
Anyone here discovered Perlina shoes yet? They are supposed to be comfort/fashion shoes.
Check out this cute 20s/30s style pump at Amazon on wicked sale (<$40!)
I'm also in love with these ones, and would love pairs in black, red, navy AND grey, but I just can't find them in...
You might want to look through the Powder Room. There's at least one big thread on swimsuits. I'll see if I have time to find it for you later, but for now, I must be getting ready for work.
EDIT: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=16596 this thread is on vintage swimsuits, but...
Some of their ballet flats are also very cute, and they have little peep-toed slingback flats as well. Not bad for lounging around the house or just tooling around. They ARE very comfortable.
Totally not true! I can think of no fewer than 3 MAC shades off the top of my head that have no hint of orange in them - they are true, blue-based reds. Chanel also has good, true reds. Actually, there are many brands and many shades of true red lipsticks - just read back in this thread ;-)
these are great!
I'm due for a cut and need to get a lot of length cut off. I kindof want to get a plain bob, but am then worried about whether or not I'll be able to get good sets without having layers. A lot of these cuts look like they don't have many layers though, which is great.

If there's a Chinatown nearby, that's going to be your closest bet.
Ebay has more selection though, and there's a seller on Ebay that sells a lot of really great, reasonably priced fabric fans. There are also lots of great vintage ones on ebay.
Search for "hand fan" or "fan - electric"
Yes, in part. But it does also depend on the cut of the corset, the number of pieces of fabric, the placement of the boning, etc.
For an hourglass silhouette that leaves room for the hips, your best bet is probably a classic style Victorian. However, the style you choose will also need to...
You mean other than air conditioning? lol
When i'm out and about, I carry a fan with me, almost everywhere in the summer. I use it at shows, waiting in the hot subway tunnels, riding the train... when it's really hot out, that person next to you will love you for it :-)
Stick to the ones...
Any traditionally styled corset (ie made with a steel busk in the front, and steel boning, with bi-directional lacing in back) will be made for curves - that's the whole point of a corset. I've never seen one that wasn't cut narrower in the waist, unless it's a super cheap one with a hook and...
They are supposedly narrower in cut, but I'm not too sure. However, these ones come in half sizes whereas the unisex ones often only come in full sizes, so maybe a half size down would help?
