Just got this vintage (60's?) B. Altman coat on freecycle. She said it was faux fur but I think it may be actual shearling. Is there a way to tell for sure? It does not feel synthetic to me.
Perfect for a natural 30-ish inch waist.
One white, by Flexees, closes with Lingerie hooks. Size S.
One black, by Victoria's Secret, size M, no closures.

Black with silver sounds rather nice to me, but if you find yourself agreeing with her, why not a charcoal grey? If someone gives you a hard time you can say it's the color of Santa's bum after a hard day of work.
Don't you give me the sneaky black type print Tomasso, I know what you're up to. :p
I guess we can put me in the "no" column for Florida and you in the "yes."
See, I can do it too.
O rly? Thanks for telling me about the globe. I've never been anywhere, I'm just a girl.
Anyway, I for one do love the Everglades. However, I don't wish to wear vintage while visiting! lol
I've been to and lived in plenty of places with high humidity. The Hawaiian...
Funny you should mention that. I was very excited when that came out, but it didn't work for me at all.
I've started using Tom's of Maine, which works great, at least in the winter.
Some guy on a travel site says it better than I ever could: "If you like your clothes clean and dry, forget it. If you put on a clean shirt, it's all sweaty a few minutes later because of the humidity, which usually hangs right around 98%... Remember that 100% means it's raining because the air...
I wonder what the gas mileage is. ;)
One of the great things about living in California (which I do not, but I used to) is that the undercarriage of old cars doesn't rot out due to salt and sand from snow. Another perk of living in a warm climate--driving actual vintage cars.

First, I originally got this vintage Benrus watch from Warbaby, who was cleaning out his collection, and though I really wanted to sell it, that's just not in the spirit of the FL now is it?!! It doesn't work, but it looks great on. It has no clasp, stretches to open...
Black compact that has seen better days, but is still functional. The puff is original; the powder in it is Coty powder from me. Asking $15 obo.
The top has two small dents.
The black is faded (not as bad as it looks in the pics, almost looks smudged, like it's gotten too many fingerprints...
Thanks! It's missing at least one cherry, so it's not worth $150 or whatever they normally sell for. But when I put it on my blouse to take a pic I was like, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm should I be selling this? We shall see!! ;)
