The Beefsteak Party: Meat for Meat's Sake

Lobster isn't dried out but you add butter to it. Get away from utilitarianism for a while, surrender to the buttery goodness. :D

    The Workplace...A Modern Tragedy?

Interesting comments Mid, I think it's been noted in actual studies that nowadays for many people their social life is their work life. Their friends are their work friends, their outside activities end up being work-related. No more getting off work and having a cocktail party with...

    The Workplace...A Modern Tragedy?

PC and etiquette are very different things. Etiquette is concerned with, in the end, treating others as you would hope to be treated yourself, while "PC" is treating others to some arbitrary false egalitarian standard. Those are almost mutually exclusive.

I'd supply the bib and steam the heck out of a nice vegetable medley for ya. :eusa_clap It's about the camaraderie in the end.

    The Workplace...A Modern Tragedy?

Loss of many of the social niceities (etiquette) that allow individuals to interact in groups with less tension? It may be just surface-deep accomodation and proper behavior, but it at least isn't cynical, selfish or rude. As we are all now such precious little snowflakes, it seems we'd...

The Beefsteak Party: Meat for Meat's Sake

If it's wrong, I don't wanna be right. As for the animal ethics commentary... The oh-so sensitive idiot uses a picture from '39 to pronounce the affairs as "all-white" when such is not mentioned in the article. Given the societal context of the photo, what is almost certainly...

Not big fan of tie bars and danglies, but given that the collar length kinda requires it, it looks fine to me.

Don't cut Spielberg any slack either. How would Brody explode the scuba tank with a radio digitally inserted instead of the Garand?

    Shoulder holsters?

And the Bianchi X-15 leather vertical holster, which is a classic stlye would fit a Charter the same as a Colt D-frame or Smith L (both cylinders are the same size). I have nothing better to do right now so I'm checking the gun auction sites, I do that once a month or so anyway.

    Shoulder holsters?

Are you looking for leather? I always assume folks are looking for leather. There's a pile of Uncle Mike's nylon belt holsters out there.

    Shoulder holsters?

I assume you're looking at mass-market holsters; Bianchi, Galco and the like? That you've Googled and looked on OFAS and the gun auction sites? The problem is that, even in their heyday, Charter's just weren't that common. It doesn't much pay for a Galco to produce 10,000 holsters for a gun...
