I have a few bottles around the house. ;) (A few more were added after this photo was taken)
Some of Jung & Wulff's prohibition era ads were done with a nudge, and a wink.
Some distillers took a similar path, one of the the most notable L. E. Jung & Wulff of New Orleans, made non alcoholic cordials based on their pre-prohibition products.
Jung & Wulff would advertise that you could buy their non alcoholic cordials from your local druggist, where you could...
During W.W. II my Dad worked for a "Vending Machine/Juke Box Co." ("Youse guys need one of our juke boxes in your bar") that among other side ventures, printed ration books and stamps, and offered hard to find goods that "fell off of trucks" passing through the area.
A properly distilled absinthe is not bitter, there are a few low quality brands being imported like Le Tourment Vert, and Mata Hari, that do not taste anything remotely like a well made absinthe verte, or absinthe blanche.
I don't recommend St. George since it tastes closer to a glass of pesto, than a glass of absinthe, but if you really want to pop for a bottle try:

I scan, then clean up the image a bit, then print.
If one is really worried about fading, you can get "museum glass" that has extra UV filtering built in.
They should have had this piano player in the movie.

Harry The Hipster knew about Reefer Madness. ;)
Rumblefish, By all means get a bottle of Peychauds bitters, you'll definitely know the difference, the flavor profile isn't the same without Peychauds.
I was in Sazerac heaven last week in NOLA, alternating between a Sazerac and a Ramos Gin Fizz at will.
You can try Fee Brothers Old Fashioned Aromatic Bitters for something different than regular Angostura, and if you can get Sazerac Rye, try it over the old Overholt.
I'd have to have a gun pointed at me to use Jim Beam Rye.
It's better to silver solder the pin on the back of the plane, rather than use super glue.
I used silver solder to repair a damaged aviation pin with very good results.
Actually you are showing a cropped, zoomed excerpt of the ad, the Boeing logo on the aircraft tail is incidental to the Stetson hat ad, I doubt Stetson did an ad buy to promote Boeing Aircraft.
I'm surprised no one ever asked Stetson if they have an original Stratoliner pin in their archives...
