Just a tip from the peanut gallery.
I recently succumbed to a tv advert and bought a Swiffer Duster, a seemingly ersatz plastic thingy for dusting stuff around the house that surprisingly works quite well, especially on delicate doodads and electronics.
Anyhow, it occurred to me for some...
As a buyer, I have been increasingly frustrated by the fact that so few sellers will accept Money Orders, that ebay has a paypal only policy, high customs fees and outrageous postage rates here in Canada. In Canada particularly I feel that the whole mail order/online business environment is...
X2. Thanks Levallois. I was catching up on this thread and was going to reply, but you beat me too it. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
If you shoot, and you don't own a copy of Cartridges of the World, go get one and get the facts before what some feller at the range tells you blows up your gun.
Undertow, if you're talking about the old hammer and bang thing that neck sizes only etc., I'd strongly advise you to hold off and buy a press. You'll save yourself a lot of time, effort and frustration. There are some really inexpensive ones out there from Lee and RCBS, and you can get a...
When I lived on the Border, my favorite cigarettes were Delicados. Never tried any smokes from anywhere else that could match them, dirt cheap and apparently they are considered quite de classe.

As I said, the off the face thing is slight and I'm sure wouldn't be there if the lump fit...
Good luck FM, I remember my childhood home with great fondness, it and its environs had a good deal to do with shaping me in many ways. But onward and upward. Glad you found a place you like.
Based on my experience, your worries about the cotter pin thingy are unfounded. Also, any of the riders I know who have used this likewise have had no problems. Simple, quick, easy, and no alterations. Before cutting up your new sombrero why not try it first and see how you like it. Nothing to...
Don't do this to hats
Found out about these the hard way.
When steaming a hat, don't let the steam get anywhere near the sweat band or you'll end up with bacon, as above.
Also, be VERY careful when turning a sweat band down, as they are often dried out and brittle. A great way to rip...
Good one S-o-A.
I actually didn't take umbrage at his observation, rather found it funny, especially considering that the guy is an otherwise real decent fellow, but who dresses like a refugee himself. He just hasn't gotten used to small Canadian ranching/logging towns yet.
Chas, you...
