    We're Back From The BRINK!

With the price of gas and the road distances involved I can barely afford to get out of town. Do you know any rich folks who need assistance? :D

    We're Back From The BRINK!

I suspect we are being set up for a huge cross-title multi-issue event. At some point we will have to team up with the Earth-II "Fedora Cafe" team to save the universe and correct the rift in time and space. unfortunately, some of you might not make it... :D

    Baby it's (not) cold outside

Steal the ice from a neighbor or buy a bag at the store. :D Actually, your freezer runs 24/7 at a constant temperature whether you are freezing water or not. Water for homes up here is not metered but is a flat rate. Making ice is basically a sunken cost already, with a homemade swamp...

Wet-Clean Suit - literally wash and wear

I shouldn't think the fabric thickness is a necessary part of the technology working. Shedding water is shedding water after all. So, if it catches on, one would hope they'd make them for milder climates. I know there are already home alternatives to dry cleaning regularly, but they all...

The lighter side (?) of WWII

http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Entertainment/2008/04/26/photos_show_lighter_side_of_world_war_ii/9087/ Historical photos (Nazi propaganda no less) without context? In a Historical Library?

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Finally watched Cloverfield and Hot Fuzz. Cloverfield was a better film than I expected. The characters still made some obvious survival mistakes, but that was, I guess, true to their characters. Still annoyed by monsters that rely on not obeying any laws of physics for their scariness...
