    the perfectos I've seen have either the bull (steerhide) or a horse (horsehide)... Not sure about a biker? It's steer hide. and yes probably from the mid 80's.

    thanks... I couldn't believe I saw it sitting there... apparently it got covered in clothes and stuff... that's why I never saw it. The handles are actually tough to find as what's out there are all 4 3/4 center and mine are 5". Plus, mine have that pointed decorative edge.. Now the killer...

    It would be across the back and big so it would be easy to spot. I'd guess some guy was under the house doing work and it got hot. He took it off and forgot it was down there. I find stuff all the time under houses.... mostly just tools that guys forgot or lost.

    Looks very similar to the one I use to have. Mine still had the chest pocket tag, which helps a lot on aging it. The bottom pockets area little different than mine.
