    I picked up an awesome wood file cabinet from the Grimes - Stassforth Stationary Co. I'm not having a lot of luck finding anything about the company other than they did drawings and the like. I assume it was made by some other company and they put their name on it... Anyone know?

    I believe they are shrink to fit. Although the tag doesn't say it, it is cone selvedge and usually it will shrink to fit.

    it's odd that a forum obsessed and dedicated to things of the past would want to change it's image to reflect the latest and trendiest. Maybe I was just use to the old look and ways to move around, but I can't say as I'm a fan of this new look and navigation.

    I got the 705's. The break in period was awful. Took a few weeks of bloody shins till I soaked them in the tub and wore them till they dried. I'd suggest you do the same. The leather is so thick on these. Which I love, but the break in period was bloody....

    Finally got to make some waffles! And yes, they had cinnamon in them.... and tasted perfect... The timer worked perfect. figuring out how much batter to use.
